David and Abigail

Pastor Young continues with his sermon series on the life of David, "The Gospel According to David." His sermon is from 1 Samuel 25:1-44. Is your anger justified? Do you feel when you are wronged that you have the right to avenge? Has someone calmed you with wise words and actions? Gentleness is wisdom. Be mindful of your avenged spirit, even if you are in the right. For God uses wisdom to calm us through His Word, the nourishment from Jesus, our vine. Guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus for you are not strong on your own. You have been bought at the price of His shed blood, our Judge, Who died for you. Amen.
