Mephibosheth

Senior Pastor Young Ho Hwang continues with his sermon series on the life of David "The Gospel According to David' preaching from 2 Samuel 9. David's kindness towards Mephibosheth was driven by grace given to him by God. And for Jonathan's sake and the covenant David made with him, he showed "hesed," or God's loving kindness to Jonathan's son. We Christians have been given abundant grace by God through Jesus Christ and the new covenant He made with us through His shed blood. Does grace shape who we are? Are we motivated to be kind to others "hesed" because we know we are forgiven sinners? We, like Mephibosheth, have been given the greatest gift. May the grace of God transform us into humble, grateful people, in Jesus' name. Amen.
