BIBLE READING PLANS

The reading plans below represent a variety of approaches to the same goal, developing a life giving habit of daily Bible reading.  Each of the plans take a slightly different approach and require more or less time to read the passages.

Whichever plan you choose, you will grow in the regularity of your Bible reading. Remember that the goal is not to  just complete the plan, but to interact with God, and grow into a deeper relationship with Him  through His word.

Your Word is a lamp unto my feet

Discovery - If you’re newer to walking with Jesus, you’ll grow and change with Discovery.

Duration: Discovery covers key portions of every book of the Bible in a four-year cycle in 10-15 verses a day. Published 4 times a year, delivered to your home*.
Encounter With God- If you enjoy wrestling with God’s Word you’ll love Encounter with God. Specifically written for believers with a more established background in God’s Word, Encounter with God® leads you through meditations on God’s Word that are more challenging. You’ll find the daily comments to be a thoughtful exposition of the biblical text and we don’t let you off the hook with application. You’ll also find a question or two that will apply the reading insights to daily life.
Duration: You’ll follow a systematic daily Bible reading schedule that will cover the New Testament twice and the Old Testament once in a five year cycle. But if that’s not enough, each issue also includes a “Through the Bible in One Year” feature. Published 4 times a year, each issue contains 3 months of daily Bible reading*.
