Absalom

Pastor Young continues with his sermon series on the life of David "The Gospel According to David" preaching from 2 Samuel 13:1-22. We need to be careful of the narrative that is driving our lives. Sin will not leave you, it masters you and takes possession over you. It lays dormant if we don't address it immediately in confession to God. Be mindful of the power of sin and evil done in the name of good that will make you more proud and more self-righteous. God's heart is to save sinners through the blood of His precious Son, Jesus Christ. Allow Him to come into your life and re-write your narrative, give you His Spirit, a new nature, and a new story -hope. For our God is just and loving. Turn to Him and away from sin. Amen.
