The Parable of the Good Samaritan

Pastor Young continues with his sermon series entitled "Parables," preaching from Luke 10:25-37. In all His parables, Jesus is teaching about the good news of the Kingdom of God. The question, "what must I do to inherit eternal life?" is the single most important question of any man. It cannot be earned, it is a gift from God. No man can justify himself before God with keeping the law --it can't be kept. The law was given to show the need for a Savior. The law reveals the character of God. By the grace of God, we no longer identify with the half-dead man on the street. We are made alive in Christ Jesus, our Savior, our neighbor, who neighbors us. Amen!
