Mercy Ministry

Mercy Ministry

  • Meets the temporary physical well-being of our PBC body during times of personal crisis and difficult situations.
  • Supplements care given by family members, friends and small group members when those support channels are not enough.
  • Focuses on practical needs including meals, transportation, and occasional visits to those homebound.

Please see the Form below to get involved.

Mercy Ministry mission

To extend the love of Christ providing supplemental care and essential needs during significant times of physical, emotional, or spiritual challenges.

How does the Ministry work?
We provide an organized approach of needed care to effectively ensure that no one is neglected or forgotten.

Each section of supplemental care  is comprised of a leader and a group of volunteers.

We provide a meals to the individual/family in need consisting of balanced food incorporating special diets, and likes and dislikes.

Volunteers can  cook a meal,  give gift certificates or gift cards to local supermarkets,  or send a check to the family for take out.

Remember the Mercy Ministry and the families in need by donating:
Extra veggies from your garden,
Meat from your freezer that can be spared, etc.

Contact Belle Barnes for more information.

Cards and Calls

We make phone calls and send cards or letters of cheer, comfort and encouragement to those on our PBC Prayer List.
We stay in touch and keep informed on the progress of our brothers and sisters in need.

We visit  those who are hospitalized, in assisted living or nursing homes, recuperating at home, and homebound.
We provide comfort to those lonely, grieving, dealing with difficult illnesses or situations, in need of encouragement, prayer, and fellowship!

We  provide transportation to doctor appointments, crucial treatment centers, critical errands, or for a last-minute need.
