The Baptism and Temptation of Jesus

Our baptism into Christ sets the rhythm of our lives that we have God's affirmation and blessing from the moment we receive Him into our hearts. We are His and He loves us. "This is my Son, whom I love; with Him I am well pleased." Therefore, when tempted, we can respond with the same confidence and security that Jesus did when He was tempted by Satan.
