The focus of the Music and Worship Ministry is God Himself. Our vision is to build worship teams, leaders and bands whose musicians have one—and only one desire; to worship God and bring glory to Him and not ourselves. The ministries of worship leading and special music are intended to draw our hearts into an attitude of joyful praise and reflective song as we offer up to God “the fruit of our lips giving thanks to His name.” (Heb 13:15). Opportunities to serve include Praise Bands and Worship Teams for adults, youth and kids, children’s worship ministry, home church and small group worship, and at workshops, retreats and conferences sponsored by PBC.
A lot of behind the scenes work goes into creating our Sunday morning worship service. A key component of that work is done in our Sound Ministry. Assuring that everyone who attends can properly hear and therefore participate in our services is critically important to us. Our Sound Ministry Team coordinates all the audio needs…
The Sound Ministry Team works directly with the Worship leaders and musicians to create an environment where music and voices are perfectly blended and add to our worship of God. Along with controlling the overall quality of the sound that comes from our speaker system, they also provide special devices for the the hearing impaired, giving them personal control over their volume levels during our services. The team also is responsible for recording our services, making those recordings available through our Tape/CD ministry and on the web.
