Chet KlopeChet came to Pascack Bible Church in 1991 as our Minister of Youth and Family Life after seven years of lay and part-time youth ministry. His responsibilities quickly widened into other areas of church life and on July 1, 2009 he took on his current position as our Senior Pastor.
Chet came to faith in 1978 while in Navy flight school. Following a ten year career as a Navy helicopter pilot, he attended Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, graduating in 1991. While at PBC he continued his reserve service, retiring at the rank of Commander in1999. He and his wife Margot have three children: Curtis, Nicole, and Joel. Curtis is married to Becky, and they have a son Silas and daughter Sydney. Chet has continued his love of swimming, still training, racing and for a number of years coaching at Hillsdale’s Stonybrook Swim Club. His other interests include whitewater kayaking, skiing, woodworking, and home repair.
Troy ChildressA native of Charleston, South Carolina, Troy grew up in a loving Christian family where he came to faith at a young age. After high school he served in the Air Force for nearly 10 years on both active and reserve duty. It was during that time he felt a call to youth ministry and attended Milligan College in Tennessee where he earned a degree in communications and youth ministry. He has served at several churches as both a volunteer youth worker and as a youth pastor before joining the staff of PBC in 2011. He is married to Glynnis, is a avid fan of sports in general and University of South Carolina athletics in particular.
Barb SchiroWhen Barbara first came to Pascack Bible Church in 1981, she provided administrative support to the Senior Pastor. Over the years, her responsibilities have changed. With her background in early childhood Christian Education and her skills in administration, Barbara has become the Director of our Children’s Ministries and the church Administrator, coordinating ministries and facilities. Prior to PBC, she was on the HiBA Staff for thirteen years. Barbara is a graduate of Lancaster Bible College. In her spare time she enjoys windsurfing and has recently learned how to cross country ski.
Gloria KaslanderGloria Kaslander serves as Administrative Assistant, providing administrative support and coordination to the general office procedures. Gloria started working at PBC in 2000, but she is a member and has attended since 1981. Gloria is married to Dennis, a painting contractor, and has two children, Leslie and Janet. While she lives in New Jersey, her heart is in the Squam Lakes region of New Hampshire.
